The tradition of brewing in Mariakirchen goes back to the year 1752, when beer had already been produced under the guidance of Freiherr von Pfetten. Since 2003, we have been brewing unfiltered, natural beers with fresh spring water from Mariakrichen. We are still using the old recipe complying the Bavarian Purity Law.
Our brew master Patrick Mengenkamp produces our pale or dark beer and the low-alcohol beer called ”Scheps” directly in our brewery tavern.
After having fermented and matured, the beer gets directly from the storage tank to the tap.
